This private cozy guest suite with separate entrance is the perfect spot for solo travelers, couples, or friends looking to explore Colorado. Located just a half block from City Park, and within walking distance to the Denver Zoo, Museum of Nature and Science and Botanical Gardens. Downtown is just 2 miles away and Red Rocks Amphitheater is only 30 minutes away. We provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Neighborhood

Our house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood adjacent to what is arguably Denver’s best park, the 314-acre City Park. Here you’ll find the Denver Zoo, 14 tennis courts, a lake with boat rentals, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Jazz in the Park (on summer Sundays) and the newly renovated 18-hole City Park golf course. The Denver Botanical Gardens is located just over a mile away.

Houses, from slightly weathered Victorians to newer condos, are peppered throughout the neighborhood. A large portion of City Park West’s north end is taken up by hospitals and medical centers; to the south, East 17th and East Colfax avenues are busy commercial corridors that draw people of all ages to their buzzing blocks.

Access

Completely separate entrance. The suite is totally private and closed off from the rest of the house.

Space

This is the renovated lower-level guest suite of our home, which was built in 1908 as the Boyd Mansion. At ~250 SF the space is similar in size to what you might expect from a standard hotel room.

Our house is located in the City Park West neighborhood on a quiet street with free street parking available.

The suite includes a comfortable queen bed with 4 Tempurpedic pillows.

In the remodeled bathroom, you’ll find a waterfall shower with amazing water pressure. Also included are a bidet, hairdryer, and ironing board.

Entertainment amenities include an assortment of board games, books, bluetooth speaker, and a 42″ TV equipped with a Roku device to log in to any streaming apps that you may have an account with (Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Youtube, etc.).

Included in the unit are a Fujitsu mini split air conditioner & heater, electric fireplace heater, humidifier, and white noise machine. + Fast WiFi.

The kitchen has plenty of dinnerware, an induction stovetop, coffee, microwave, and table for dining or working on your laptop.

The suite is accessed by entering through the gate to the right of the house. You’ll then see steps going down to the unit (there are automatic lights that will turn on if entering at night). There is a lockbox with keys to allow you to enter the unit as you please.

There’s an easy walk out from the backyard where you can simply cross the street to City Park.

Transit

There is genrally plenty of free street parking available on our block for those with a car.
